Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to established recipes, portion guidelines, and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout all shifts
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, measuring, and stocking ingredients
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and temperature to ensure safe and consistent service
• Support inventory management by rotating stock, reporting shortages, and reducing waste
• Follow all kitchen, health, and safety procedures at all times
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure efficient service
• Assist with cleaning equipment, tools, and workstations at the end of each shift

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen, food service, or hospitality environment preferred
• Basic understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety practices
• Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and standardized procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment and manage multiple tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift typical kitchen items as needed
